| Apprenticeships
are designed for hard-working and committed individuals, who
wish to gain new skills and knowledge and earn money at the
same time.
U-Phorm will match non-employed
Apprentices (who are looking for work) to employers, but equally
Apprenticeships are open to people who are already employed
and who want to develop their skills, knowledge and qualifications
that they need to progress. The Apprenticeship is also available
at a higher level, the Advanced Apprenticeship. It is possible
to progress from one level to the next.
The government provides
funding* for Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships,
which include industry-related and vocational qualifications.
They are designed to develop knowledge and skills that are
needed to rise to the top of a given profession. Many of the
skills are transferable to other industries too.
Young Apprenticeships
are now also available as a starting point for young people
aged 14-16; they are designed to run alongside core GCSEs
curriculum in schools.
